Changing Your Name

Here's everything you need to know about changing your name:

Private and internal — This name will only be visible to you and used for internal communication (email, support, etc.).
Not visible to others — Your name will not appear publicly on the platform.
Cooldown period — You can only change your name once every 14 days.

This name is used solely for contact purposes and will not be displayed publicly.

Pro tip: Choose a name that is easy for support and others to contact you with!

Changing Your Username

Your username change happens instantly — here's everything you need to know:

Instant update — The new username takes effect immediately after saving.
Old username released — Your previous username becomes available for anyone to claim right away.
No redirects — Old profile links will stop working immediately. There is no redirect or grace period.
Unique requirement — The new username must be available (not already taken by someone else).
Cooldown period — You can only change your username once every 14 days.
Best practice — Update any pinned posts, bios, external profiles, or shared links yourself and notify your followers about the change as soon as possible.
